Historical and Architectural Sites
Commission Awards

DECATUR - The City of Decatur Historical and Architectural Sites Commission (HASC) is celebrating the annual Preservation Awards Ceremony on May 13, 2010 at 6:30pm at the Decatur Area Arts Council. This year the HASC is proud to recognize a wide range of citizens who have demonstrated meritorious interest and support in preserving and commemorating Decatur’s rich heritage. The following will be recognized at the event:

Heritage Network Award - Ritchie and Sandra Barnett

Organizational Achievement - Looking for Lincoln Wayfinding Signage, Lincoln Heritage Committee (Kim Bauer, Jeff Hendricks, John McClarey, Patrick McDaniel, Brent Wielt, & Denene Wilmeth)

Residential Architectural Renovation & Restoration - Terry and Heather Stoa, 695 West Mound Road; Linda K. Baltimore, 860 West Decatur Street; Jan Hoerbert, 1037 West Wood Street; Gregg Meisenhelter, 1034 West Main Street; Donald and Debra Copeland, 140 North Oakcrest Avenue; K. Lyle and Delores Artman, 570 West Prairie Street; Heritage Behavioral Health Center, Inc., 631 West Main Street; Duane and Lynn Potter, 366 South Edward Street.
