Lane Closure - E. North St.
City of Decatur crews will be working in the 100 and 200 blocks of East North Street, between North Franklin Street and North Main Street, for replacement of crosswalk, beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2009, weather permitting. This work will cause the total closure of the 100 and 200 blocks of East North Street, between North Franklin Street and North Main Street starting at 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2009, continuing to approximately 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Water Street will remain open. Detour routes and access to Parking Garage B are as follows: Franklin Street north to Eldorado Street westbound to Main Street southbound to North Street eastbound to parking garage B entrance. Other southbound to eastbound traffic is detoured from Main Street southbound to William Street eastbound. Motorists should slow down and use extreme caution around the work zone.
