FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

City of Decatur crews will be working in the outside southbound lane and then the outside northbound lane of 22nd Street, at the underpass, mowing, beginning Friday, July 20, 2012. This work will cause the outside southbound lane of 22nd Street, at the underpass, to be closed first, starting at 8:30 a.m. When done mowing the southbound side of the underpass the crews will close the outside northbound lane of 22nd street, at the underpass, and continue mowing till approximately 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2012. Flagmen will be present to assist with traffic flow. Motorists should slow down, use extreme caution and be prepared for delays through the work zone.
