FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Burdick Plumbing & Heating Company, Inc. will be working at 42 South Shores Drive, tapping the water main, beginning Tuesday, June 26, 2012, weather permitting. This work will cause the total closure of South Shores Drive between Franzy Drive and Baywood Drive and an access closure just to the east of Bayshore Drive, starting at 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 and continuing to approximately 6:30 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012, for two (2) days.

The marked detour route for THRU traffic is as follows: Eastbound traffic will use South Shores Drive to Bayshore Drive to Point Bluff to Baywood Drive to South Shores Drive and westbound traffic will use South Shores Drive to Baywood Drive to Point Bluff to Bayshore Drive to South Shores Drive.

The residents of Marlin Drive, Marlin Court and Franzy Drive will have access to their homes through the access closure at the barricades just east of Bayshore Drive, but there will be NO access through the barricades on the east side of Baywood Drive while the work is ongoing. Motorists should slow down and use extreme caution around the work zone.
