6/20/2011 251 W. Packard St.
Second Battalion (E-1, E-3, E-5, E-6, T-1, B-1, 312, & 703) responded to a First Alarm for a report of a fire on a bedroom. While responding, units observed smoke in the area. Battalion 1 arrived on scene, took command, and found smoke coming from the back gable window and from the attic vents from a 1 ½ storey house. Everyone was out of the building. Engine 1 arrived and pulled a 1 ¾” line sand advanced it to the second floor. Tower 1 ventilated the roof. Engine 3 was water supply. Engine 5 pulled a backup line and assisted Engine 1 on the second floor. Engine 6 was RIT and set an additional ladder at the back. The fire was quickly extinguished and overhauled. Salvage covers were setup on the first floor by Tower 1 and Engine 5. The Red Cross responded to assist the occupants. 703 investigated.

6/9/2011 1312 E. Wood St.
Third Battalion (E-1, E-2, E-3, E-4, E-6, E-7, T-1, T-2, B-1, 312 & 701) responded to a First Alarm initially for a report of a basement on fire. Engine 2 arrived on scene, took command, and reported a fire in the basement. A Second Alarm was called due to a basement fire. Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command. Engine 6 arrived and established a water supply and assisted Engine 2 with the first line. Engine 1 arrived on scene and pulled a backup line to the basement. Engine 1 then moved their line to the first floor after fire was discovered there. Truck 2 ventilated basement windows, and then ventilated the roof. Engine 4 established their own water supply and pulled a third line to the basement. Engine 6 disconnected the utilities and Ameren was called. Engine 3 was RIT and rehab. Engine 7 and Tower 1 were on scene but released soon after the fire was under control. The Red Cross responded to assist the occupants. 701 investigated.

6/1/2011 1695 N. 21st St.
First Battalion (E-1, E-2, E-4, E-5, T-2, B-1, 312, & 702) responded to a First Alarm for a reported building on fire. While responding, units observed a column of smoke coming from the general area. Engine 4 arrived on scene, took command, and found significant fire coming from the roof and advised that everyone was out of the building. Engine 4 pulled a 1 ¾” line, set a ladder and advanced the line to the roof. Battalion 1 arrived on scene and assumed command. Engine 2 was ordered to lay a water supply line to Engine 4. Truck 2 was ordered to set the ladder and go to the roof to assist Engine 4. Engine 1 was ordered to assist Engine 2 with establishing a water supply. Engine 1 then pulled a second 1 ¾” line to the roof to assist Engine 4 and Truck 2. Engine 5 was assigned RIT. Salvage covers were set up and all companies overhauled. 702 investigated.
