7/25/2011 1961 Queen Mary Ct.
First Battalion (E-1, E-2, E-4, E-5, T-1, B-1, & 701) responded to a First Alarm for a report of a kitchen fire in the 1900 block of Queen Mary Court. Engine 4 arrived, took command, reported fire in the rear of a split level house, and advanced a 1 ¾” line for fire attack. Engine 5 arrived and laid a 5” supply line, but it was never charged. Engine 1 arrived and assisted Engine 4. The fire was knocked down quickly. Truck 2 set a fan and overhauled. Engine 2 was RIT. The Red Cross was called to assist the occupants. Engine 5 monitored the interior atmosphere. Once clear, 701 investigated and then the area was overhauled completely.

7/23/2011 741 E. Condit St.
First Battalion (E-1, E-3, E-4, E-5, T-1, B-1, 312, & 701) responded to a First Alarm for a report of a fire in a kitchen, that is catching the next residence on fire. Battalion 1 arrived and took command. Battalion 1 reported fire self-venting though the window on the C-D corner, with an exposure to the West. Engine 1 arrived and advanced a 1 ¾” line to front door for interior extinguishment. Tower 1 ventilated and then assisted Engine 1 inside. Engine 3 secured a water supply. Engine 4 advanced a second line to the 2nd floor to check for fire extension. Engine 5 was RIT. Engine 5 monitored the atmosphere before overhaul. Overhaul and cleanup was completed. The Red Cross was called to assist the occupants. 701 investigated.

7/21/2011 702 E. Wood St.
Third Battalion (E-1, E-3, E-4, E-6, E-7, T-1, T-2, B-1, 312 & 701) responded to a First Alarm initially for a report of a store on fire. Battalion 1 arrived, took command, and reported smoke coming from the front of the store. Battalion 1 then called a Condition 1 and a Second Alarm due to the high heat index. Engine 1 arrived on scene, pulled a 2 1/2” line, and advanced it to the front door. Engine 6 forced the front door for Engine 1 and then forced the front door on 704 E. Wood Street. Engine 6 then went to Side C. Engine 6 also helped Engine 1 establish a water supply. Tower 1 arrived and vented the roof. Engine 3 arrived and pulled a backup 2 ½” line to the front door. Engine 6 vented the front windows. Engine 4 was RIT. Truck 2 was assigned overhaul. Engine 7 setup a rehab station. 312 responded. 312 monitored conditions in the rear of the building and assisted Engine 7 with the rehab. 704 E. Wood Street had a little smoke and too was ventilated. DPD was called for traffic control. DAS assisted with rehab. Ameren was called to disconnect the power and gas. 701 investigated.

7/6/2011 3986 E. Hickory St.
Third Battalion (E-1, E-4, E-6, E-7, T-2, B-1, & 703) responded to a First Alarm for a reported garage fire. Truck 2 arrived on scene, took command, and reported a detached garage fire fully involved. Truck 2 deployed two 1 ¾” handlines for fire attack. Engine 4 arrived and laid a 5” supply line to Truck 2 and assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. A Condition 1 was called, however only 703 responded. Engine 1 and Engine 7 arrived and both assisted with overhaul. Engine 6 arrived and was soon cleared by command. 703 investigated.
